Master of Science(Bio-Technology (NON-GRANTED))
1) Graduates with B.Sc. Bio-Technology or Science Graduates with either of Bio-Chemistry/ Botany/ Zoology/ Env. Science/ Horticulture/ Bio-Physics/ Dairy Science/ Bio-Informatics/ Life Sciences/ Microbiology/ Bio-Technology as one of the Optional subjects. B.Sc. (Agriculture) are eligible. OR B. Pharmacy graduates shall also be held eligible for admission to M.Sc. (Bio-Technology) Course. However students with / Botany/ Zoology/ Env. Science/ Horticulture/ Bio-Physics/ Dairy Science/B.Sc. (Agriculture) OR B. Pharmacy have to complete an additional orientation course organized by the department.
AND
2) The merit list for admission to postgraduate course will be prepared by the university departments. It will be MERIT based admissions, the merit will be based on the marks secured by the candidate as follows:
a) In case of optional subject, the marks obtained by the applicant in the respective optional subject during the third or final year of their degree course;
b) In case of honors degree program, the percentage obtained by the student / applicant in the final year will be considered excluding non-honors subject appeared by the student / applicant if any.

1) A candidate who has passed the B. A./ B. Sc. Examination of this or any other statutory university recognized as equivalent thereto with Mathematics as one of the subject offered at final year of graduation (B. A./ B. Sc.) may be allowed to seek admission to M.Sc. Mathematics course as a regular candidate.
AND

1) (a)A candidate shall be admitted to the First Year (Semester-I)for the M.Sc. [Computer Science] in the Faculty of Science & Technology provided that he / she passed Computer Science as one of the Optional subjects at B.Sc. level B.E. / B. Tech in computer science and Engineering /IT OR (b) B.Sc. Hardware and networking or multimedia with mathematics as one of the subject at HSC level (12th standard) OR (c) Any science graduate with at least one optional subject as computer science/Any Other Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science of this University or any Other University recognized as equivalent thereto. In case of vacancies not filled due to non-availability of students with above mentioned criteria, the students with B.Sc. Physics/ Electronics/ Mathematics as one of the Optional subjects may also be considered for the admission. as per mention in Circular No. Acad/ NP/ Comp. Sci./30/2002 dated 30-07-2002.
